Eric S. Lambert was born in Prince William County, Virginia. At a young age, his family settled in Lawrence County, Ohio where he graduated from Dawson-Bryant High School in 2004. After attending Ohio University, he joined the US Army in 2008, attending basic training on the 13th of January 2009 in Fort Jackson, SC.
Once graduating, he finished Advanced Individual Training (AIT) for Petroleum Supply Specialist (92F) in Fort Lee, VA. Upon completion, Lambert served with the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment at Fort Irwin, CA in the Second Squadron, Savage Platoon, supporting the National Training Center (NTC) with the preparation of military units before their deployments in support of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. While serving in Fort Irwin, he finished two Associates Degrees at Barstow College; one in Mathematics, the other in Social Science, and placing on the Commandants' list for Warrior Leadership Course (WLC) with the 101st Airborne in Fort Campbell, KY.
Lambert then served at Camp Humphreys, South Korea, at the Hot Refuel Point on the A511 Desiderio Army Airfield, where he earned an Army Commendation Medal for his due diligence and persistence for safety, having issued over a million gallons of fuel to multiple aircraft systems without incident, and persistence to serve the needs of the airfield.
Upon completion of service, Lambert attended Marshall University, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Economics, and serving our veterans with the Ole Doc Riley, Chapter 51 of the Ohio Disabled American Veterans (DAV) as First Junior Vice. He also serves on the Lawrence County Veteran Service Commision as a Board Member on behalf of the DAV.
